What personal data we collect and why we collect it

Contact forms

If you fill in our contact forms, the data you submit will be sent to our secure mailbox. No data is stored on the website database itself. To request removal of your data from our records please email us.

Articles on this site may include embedded content (e.g. videos, images, articles, etc.). Embedded content from other websites behaves in the exact same way as if the visitor has visited the other website.

Analytics

We use Google Analytics to provide an insight on how our website is performing. We have disabled the Remarketing and Advertising Reporting features, and we have also requested that IPs are masked. With this in mind, Google will continue to collect the following data

• Time of visit, pages visited, and time spent on each page of the webpages
• Referring site details (such as the URI a user came through to arrive at this site)
• Type of web browser
• Type of operating system (OS)
• Flash version, JavaScript support, screen resolution, and screen color processing ability
• Network location and IP address (the last 3 numbers of your IP address are masked)

If you want to stop this website collecting website usage data about you via Google Analytics, you can:

1. disable cookies in your browsers
2. disable Javascript in your browser
3. use Google’s Opt-out browser add-on
4. use a third-party tool such as Disconnect, Ghostery or Do No Track Me

Who we share your data with

We do not share data with any third-party unless requested by the owner of said data.

How long we retain your data

Google Analytics retains the data it collects from your session for 26 months which resets to 26 months everytime you create a new tracking event, for example moving from the home page to the projects page.

Data collected from the contact and get a quote forms will be kept on the mailbox and maintained if you continue with us as a client. If you do not become a client, or request that your data be deleted, we will delete the data stored. Please email us to request deletion.

What rights you have over your data

You can request a copy of any data we hold about you. You can also request that we erase any personal data we hold about you. This does not include any data we are obliged to keep for administrative, legal, or security purposes.

Where we send your data

Submissions from the forms get sent to our secure mailboxes. We do not send data elsewhere. Information gathered by Google Analytics is sent to the GA dashboard which is only accessible by Accord Engineering.
